More Womb Friends

I also got to meet up with an old HS friend who I haven't seen since pretty much then. We got married around the same time, and had BOTH of our babies at almost the same time except she had a boy first then a girl. Too funny.
We took the kids to a play place where they just have a whole bunch of these blown up bouncy toys. Ben is at the top, leaving Brighton in his dust.
Brighton, me, Chelsea and Ben. Thanks for a fun day guys!

Pals From the Womb

My long time friend, Gisele, and I were pregnant at the same time and Olivia came only 5 days before B was born. The girls had never met before our trip to Arizona, and so we had to get them together! They had a lot of fun not sharing and hoarding all the toys, like first borns do. But now they both have little brothers that they can pick on and practice their sharing skills. Thanks for having us over Gisele- we had so much fun!

I Love Weddings!

While in Arizona, we got to go to a wedding reception. We had a ton of fun and B and M loved staying up late. I think Brighton's favorite part of the night was the dancing.

She got all the young kids to dance with her- even some of the boys :)

I have no idea who this girl is, nor does Brighton, but they still had fun!

Kaylee and I enjoying the food, of course. There were little mashed potato martinis and wine glasses with tomato soup and grilled cheese wedges- cute!

Mommy and Mason.

Brighton looking gorgeous (and probably giving me the puppy dog eyes for some reason I can't remember).

B showing off her mad dance skills.

Mommy, Brighton and Grandpa Rod.

The mother of the bride and my mom (they're BFF).

Bella Trois- Me, Kaylee, and Kassie (with the kiddos of course- Brighton had just been lost for a few minutes so she was distressed, as you can see).

Us girls with our girl! Congrats Jessie- we love you!

Railroad Park

Yes, I'm still catching up on April posts. Moms need like 48 hour days in order to get anything done.

Brighton, Mason and I met up with my long time friend Jill and her two boys at the Railroad Park. I don't remember ever going there myself, but it's a great place for kids- cheap too.

Brighton looks like she's ready to surf.
Harrison was giving me the stink eye.
Jill, her boys, and Brighton, getting ready for a train ride.
So much fun!
Then B found the steering wheel. She loves steering wheels.
Driving the train.
Then we went on the merry-go-round.
Brighton's never been on one, so she wasn't sure about it while we were waiting for it to start.
She likes it!
Thanks for a fun afternoon Jill! It was great to see you and the boys. And thank you Arizona for such wonderfully awesome weather. I miss you.

Great- grandma Time

Great- grandma Michelle bought Brighton and Mason some new books, and they BOTH wanted to climb into her lap for story time. Brighton thought it was hilarious.

Brighton In Grandma's Red Swing

Some more fun at Grandma's in Arizona! Of course it's gorgeous outside EVERY SINGLE DAY, so we hung out outside a lot. Especially on Grandma Helen's swing.

She came up with this pose all by herself.
Brighton is sporting another dress that I made from a t-shirt! I just used elastic thread to gather the top and added some little straps that were encasing elastic. Super easy.

Connor's Baseball Game

We went to several of my brother's baseball games while I was in AZ. I wanted to go because he's been playing for years and I've never been able to see him. Apparently he's very good. I don't know anything about baseball, so I take my dad's word for it.
The highlight of the evening was the snow cone. Grandma spoiled Brighton and got her one to eat all by herself. There was an amazing syrup crash later that evening.
She wasn't sure how to eat it at first. It was really funny. She just kept licking it until I showed her she needed to take a bite.
There she goes! This is one of my favorite pictures.
Sitting by Grandma cheering Connor on.

This is my other favorite. I don't know why, but I love this one of her.
GO CONNOR!
My brother, pitching.
Connor is a Jeter fan. That's why he's #2.
Isn't my little bro so cute?
There he goes!
My mom was saying that this picture was the one that was NOT to be put on the blog. But I think it's funny. Kassie, I'm going to make sure this gets into your wedding slide show.
All in red. So cute.

Mason

Just a cute shot of Mason chewing on my brother's old blocks. This little man is just SO handsome!

Visit With Grandma

We got to spend an afternoon with my Grandma Bo! It's been ages since I've seen her- it was her first time meeting Brighton and Mason!

Mason made himself at home, crawling all over and getting into Grandma's stuff.
Brighton made herself comfortable too, getting into Grandma's exercise equipment.

Mason giving Grandma some lovin'. Isn't she so tan? I'm jealous.

Eating lunch with Grandma- see? Those sunglasses never come off!

Mason, Grandma Bo, Brighton, and me.

Thanks for having us over Grandma- it was so fun and so good to see you!

Easter Sunday

We all got dressed up and enjoyed a gorgeous day outside. I don't know what the weather was like back home in WA, but AZ was perfect!
Kassie, my mom and Mason on the swing.

Kassie looks like she's going crazy!
Kaylee has the cutest nose in the whole world, don't you think? I always try to get a profile shot of her when I can. And those earrings- too cute, huh?
My mom and Mason being as cute as ever.
Kaylee and Kassie- I'm really jealous of my gorgeous sisters.
I'm really funny. Too bad I can't remember what I said.

Me, mom and Mason- I'm wearing my Easter dress and my fabric corsage that I made. I don't think I showed you this up close- I'm sure this is one of the pictures that my camera ruined so it never ended up on here. I'll try to remember to take another one- you'll want to see it!
I also made Brighton an Easter dress out of linen and the same fabric as my dress. With a matching headband too!
Connor and Brighton- best buddies.
Let the hunt begin! Don't you just love those red flowers and that awesome red door?!
Connor did a great job mowing on Saturday! The grass looks so good.
Brighton got all the easy ones.
Check out the basket!
Mason hung out under the umbrella all day.
Despite my pleas to the Easter bunny, he still snuck some candy into Brighton's basket. She enjoyed every bit of that sucker.
We had a great day together, but we all missed Daddy who was back home, all alone. Poor guy.
