I can't believe I finally got up the courage, but I did! My friend Brianne showed me this clutch that she made and I totally had to copy her. The instructions were a little tricky, but Brianne's directions were much better than where she got them from. And it only took me like an hour and fifteen minutes. It was awesome! I feel so accomplished! Kaylee, you're going to read this so I might as well tell you that I'm sending this one to you. Yellow is YOUR color! I think I'll go make one for myself now!

March of Dimes!
We went to the March of Dimes March For Babies this morning, Saturday April 26th, 2008. Sawyer was very excited when we broke out the leash. He gets so sad being left at home sometimes. We met up with our friends and all walked together. We are so glad that we were able to raise awareness and receive so much from our sponsors. Thanks to everyone who contributed and participated! It feels so great to do something as simple as a walk to help premature babies have a fighting chance. Brighton was good the entire morning, just soaking in all the sites, and it was a beautiful day! Our friend Brandon took some pictures of the walk and if you're interested check them out @ http://picasaweb.google.com/4brandon/2008MarchForBabies Brianne and I are dancing, even though it doesn't look like it...

After Church...
Cracker Time!
We gave Brighton her first "finger food" on Saturday. She wasn't too sure about it and got more of it on her face and bib than in her mouth. What she did get in her mouth she spit out all over, but she sure had fun!
Sleepy Baby
I was doing some spring cleaning the other day and I left Brighton to play on the floor with her book. She got awfully quiet real fast and I peeked over at her and she'd fallen asleep with her nose in the book. Like mother, like daughter I suppose. (she looks like her eyes are open, but she's sleeping in the picture)
Brighton Eats Carrots!
I gave Brighton some carrots on Thursday and it was the first food where she wasn't gagging and spitting it out at me. She actually opened up for more. She enjoyed them for the next couple days. She also likes to do this cheerleader split thing when she's in her high chair. She's showing off for you in the picture.
Pathetic!
Our Poor Dog
Sawyer went to the dermatologist on Tuesday because he's been suffering from some pretty bad allergies. He's been scratching and biting at himself like crazy, so we figured it'd be best to just get a test done to figure out all the things he's allergic to. They did this skin test (they had to shave a huge patch under his armpit!) where they injected him with 60 needles. Of course, he was sedated for all of this, and we found out he's allergic to pretty much everything outdoors. You can see the test area in the picture.
