Brighton's First Drawing

I was in the kitchen on Saturday (working on I don't know what) but I had to keep Brighton occupied. So I gave her a piece of paper, wrote her name on it to show her how to use the pencil, and then let her go with it. She was entertained for a good 30 minutes, and her inner artist is being allowed to bloom!
She did all those squiggles by herself!
Look at me mom, I'm coloring!
Don't even think about taking this pen and pencil away from me!

I think Brighton is an artistic genius. I still can barely get Kaylin to color anything. All of her nursery coloring sheets come back blank.
