Well, actually it was a combined birthday present for Dale and I. So you may have noticed that the pictures from my birthday post are FAR BETTER than any photos I have ever taken in MY ENTIRE LIFE! I've never been great at using a camera, but Dale and I are really interested in becoming better photographers, so we've invested in a nice new camera! We're still learning all the features (and I STILL need to read the manual and watch the DVD, but...) and how to make the pictures look like we want, but this thing is fabulous.

Brighton is so cute (like always) eating her cake. I still cannot get over her hair - how long and think it is. I'm so glad you had a great birthday - and enjoyed the Lip Sync. I agree with you that everyone was over it - we've already decided we are NOT doing it again next year. But it was fun, nonetheless, especially watching Brighton dance on your lap. She is her own little dancing queen!
